Scoundrels by Timothy Zahn
2.0

Rather a depressing caper-shot with all the best players in the galaxy played to little effect, and an ensemble cast which never lets any one voice or quirk shine. It's a pity, because Zahn was so well-known, and for good reason, for his sequel trilogy to the first three Star Wars. He had a knack for catching the characters of the canon denizens. Somehow, he lets all these fellows -- Han, Lando as well -- go flat as two day old ginger beer. Oy. And no amount to finagling and twiddling with plots can add zest to a dead-character'ed caper.
