CHEERS to my first #bookreview for 2024!
I thrifted this book at “2nd and Charles” this past NYE for the Buy 5/Get 5 Deal, and I honestly saw it in the YA section, liked the cover, and the synopsis and thought “why not give it a shot”, AND Y’ALL, I LOVED THIS!

I went in with little knowledge of the book or the author and I wish she had more books I could try out. If you want a cute storyline with some real-life elements such as grief, loss, and personal growth, this is for you🎉

-Page 22: “I’ve never hit on a guy before. This is going to be disastrous. I spy a row of shot glasses on a table. I grab one and throw it back. With courage I didn’t know I had, I pick up two more shot glasses and carry them over. You look like you need a drink, I say. You look like that was the first shot you ever drank, he says”.
