Omg this book was sooooo stinking adorable! This story follows Ashanti and Thad whose lives suddenly are intertwined with one another due to their cute doggies. It’s sugary sweet and fluffy at times. It’s a solid, quick summer romance book to read! This book made me laugh outloud and had me giggling and kicking my feet!
This book really had a lot going for it! Loveable character, good banter, slow-ish burn, “enemies” (very loosely) to lovers, diverse family representation and more. I feel like this book might be a bit slow for some people, but I felt it really added to the dimensions of the character. I loved the dual POVs! There are some side characters that I liked more than others, but I feel like there’s a little something for everyone in here.
The only downsides of this book is I felt it was too short! I wanted more of their relationship and get to spend more time with the characters. There was a little bit of a random storyline involving Kendra, which I felt was a little thrown together, but it wasn’t terrible.
Thank you so so much to NetGalley and the Publisher for this eARC! Also shout out to Farrah Rochon for writing this cute book!
