I liked this story. The FMC is Shay Kumar and MMC is Rowan “Slick” Parker. Shay lost her husband to cancer and because of that, she tries to eat healthy and doesn’t live her life to the fullest. She has a 9 year old boy, Kai.

Rowan helps her with her fears and supportive of her and Kai. I loved how understanding he is of her situation. His relationship with her son is heartwarming.
