The Executioners Three is a fun YA mystery with a great setting and premise that unfortunately just didn’t really work for me. It read *extremely* young for the vast majority of it, and I found the MC to be extremely irritating. I definitely think this could work for a lot of people, and I did find parts of it to be fun and intriguing, but overall I just didn’t connect to the characters or storyline enough to get hooked. If you’re craving a 90s setting, with creepy but still a lil camp vibes, and quirky characters that care just as much about pranks and high school crushes as they do solving potential murders, then definitely give it a go!
Thanks so much to Susan Dennard, Daphne Press, and Netgalley for the arc!
