This was SO good! The world building is great, the characters are so well written, and the story kept me hooked the entire time. The best way I could describe it is if Percy Jackson and The Hunger Games had a queer, Mexican baby, it would be The Sunbearer Trials. I loved how Aiden Thomas approached the trans experience in this fantasy world. It is so well done. I really look forward to where this story leads in the next book, and I'm excited to see where the blossoming romance we see in this book goes in book two. This is probably one of my all time favorite reads. I highly recommend it.
