Desert Flower by Waris Dirie, Cathleen Miller

3.0

Quite a fascinating story! I didn't know anything about Dirie so I enjoyed this just as an (auto)biographical account of how she starts life as a nomad in Somalia and then ends up become a globetrotting model -- this much is really prefigured on the front cover! The story is engaging.

That said, it's not much more than that.
