More Than Forever by Jay McLean

It doesn’t matter how many times I read Cam and Lucy’s story they take a piece of me with every reread.

Cam and Lucy have an instant connection but it’s also so much More Than that. Cam comes into Lucy’s life at a time that her family has been tilted on its axis. Lucy becomes everything to everybody while Cam makes Lucy his everything.

There love is different than any other book I have ever read, the intensity at such a young age, the maturity they both have, all of these things that set them apart from other couple’s in romance novels.

They were met to be, you could feel it on the pages as they fell in love.

Sometimes, bad things happen to good people even the ones who have already had more than their share of tragedy.

Sometimes, something breaks and its pure devastation to everyone involved.

Sometimes, something that’s broken is put back together and comes out the other side with more strength, love and devotion.

This isn’t just a book to read, More Than romance, More Than friendship, it’s an overwhelming journey of grief, finding healthy ways to cope, a reminder that it’s ok to break and it’s ok to ask for help when life has you gasping for air. And of course, a happily ever after that’s straight out of a Disney movie.
