I waited so long for this book and I'm kind of disappointed to be honest.
I was so sick of watching Persephone try to come into her power,  I felt like there was so much build up for her to be epic and then it was like one page and done!! The rest of the time she kind of stumbled all over the place.

I didn't really enjoy the chapters from Theseus and Dionysus perspective, I found them kind of boring and darker than I expected. The pacing was also pretty off, nothing would happen for ages then every thing would happen. And the end was so anticlimactic, so much build up for it all and then it's just done!!
I enjoyed Hermes the most and was glad to have him around so much and I also love Hades which is why my rating is what it is.
TLDR: waited years for this book only to find Persephone struggling like always, an anticlimactic ending and things just left unresolved or not followed up on.
