My Mum Tracy Beaker by Nick Sharratt, Jacqueline Wilson

5.0

(Read by audiobook)
The main thing I appreciate in this books it the continuity in the characters from the earlier Tracy Beaker books/ tv programme. I’m so glad that, unlike a certain unnamed author of my favourite book series involving a school called Hogwarts, Wilson didn’t come back years later and absolutely butcher every character from the previous series by making them unrecognisable. I like how the situation Tracy finds herself in feels realistic, and that she still has a lot of personality traits that she did when she was younger in the previous books.
