The Greek Escape by Karen Swan

3.0

A Romantic Thriller, The Greek Escape takes us to the islands of Greece. Along with that, there’s a mystery that needs solving – a story of love and betrayal, friendship and trust.

While the story was very slow initially, it picks up pace sooner and the thrill gets better. Chloe and Joe are extremely interesting characters, and most importantly, they are quite opposite to each other. Their character develops suddenly so I would say it was a bumpy ride.
The story also lacks that romantic chemistry element and I felt that the author wanted to keep the Romance to a minimum. A lot of focus was given on other everyday events and interaction between different characters, which feels important only towards the far end of the book.

The Greek Escape is an easy going and relaxing read, that you can pick up whenever you wanna take a break from everything.
