Twisted Hate by Ana Huang

Did not finish book. Stopped at 80%.
This book was super easy to breeze through (like most romances). I liked nearly everything EXCEPT when I crossed over the 80% threshold. I know I was so close to finishing the book, but I couldn’t.
Jules' insecurities should have been fleshed out more. We get a glimpse when she and Josh go back to Ohio for her mother's funeral, but I still feel like I don't understand her motivations, her early childhood, her decision to date Max, why didn't she have friends in Ohio? etc. I think if I had more info about her I would feel more sympathetic to her stealing Josh's painting.

It was almost good, but not quite. I need to forgive Jules just like Josh needs to and I don't feel that.
