"They're thanking you, Jamie. Each would give his life to keep you safe. You've done the impossible, love. You've actually united our clans."
Jamie was the kind of female lead I love—one who knew when to love fiercely and when to stand up for her man and her clan. She was strong, loyal, and unshakable in the face of danger.
I won’t lie, though—Mary and the other sisters frustrated me. They always assumed it was Jamie’s responsibility to save them, and I was so relieved when Alec caught on early.
Jamie and Alec’s dynamic as a couple was absolutely beautiful to read. They were the kind of pair you just knew would always have each other’s backs, no matter what.
Re-reading these books (even decades later) is easily one of the best decisions I’ve made this year!
