I enjoyed this sequel book even more than the first book! 

(There are currently 3 out of 4 books currently available. I believe the final book is being released Summer 2024.)

While the first book set up the world building and the characters, this sequel broadened and dove deeper into all of it. 

Cecelia really, really goes through the trenches. She has a complete reckoning with her sense of self, and the ending had me gasping. 

I love both Xander and Rainer. Their internal dialogues and conflicts and convictions… I genuinely think I’m rooting for them both to find peace and happiness. 

(Side Note: I’m not generally a Love Triangle person, but the way Sheila Masterson is writing this one is actually working for me!)

There’s more emotion, more spice, more drama, more at stake, and I’m very excited to read the third book.

Overall, I definitely recommend this series to all Romantasy lovers!
