PONY was a fantastic book! I don’t want to say too much about the plot because I think it’s better to know less, but it’s about a boy on a journey, a brave boy with a tender heart. It’s about love and friendship and family. And it’s quite the adventure along the way. I loved the characters, particularly Mittenwool.

Palacio, as we all know, is a brilliant writer, and while this book is incredibly different from WONDER, it’s no sophomore slump. It’s both imaginative and highly-researched. I hope my kids will read it next so we can chat about because there’s so much here to discuss.

“The connections that bind us are astounding, as I’ve noted. The invisible threads weave in and around us, and tug at us in places and at times that we may not ever see, or only make sense over time. That is what I have found.”
