Tales of the Otherworld by Kelley Armstrong

5.0

This review is for Bewitched & Beginnings which were both fantastic, heartbreaking, and bittersweet.

Bewitched is about Eve & Kristof- their beginnings and how they got past the prejudice warlocks and witches feel for one another and fell in love. Both Eve and Kristof are very badass but they are so sweet and open with one another. As usual the cabals screwed things up for them... grrrrr.

Beginnings is about Clay and Elena's initial romance - I recommend reading Clay's backstory before so you can get a feel for how surprised everyone is when he falls in love. In many ways Clay is more wolf than human and it is entertaining to see him navigating the "real" world and getting to know Elena. If you've read these books we know how this story ends - which again is incredibly heart-wrenching and leads to the events of Bitten. I love love love Clay and it is really gives us a new perspective of how the "event" went down which made me feel for him even more.
