I am familiar with LP Dover's books. I was so excited when she announced that this series was coming. I love her characters.
I am in love with Evan and Summer. The characters both had their own journeys moving forward with their lives. Summer had the tragic death of her husband. 2 years later she is trying to pick up the pieces and move on. Evan is a player on the football team and has adored her from afar. The passion ignites and add some suspense, you get a page turner.
She always seems to have great character interactions that keep you turning pages.
Once I start an LP Dover book it is hard to put down.
This book can be read as a standalone. The previous MMA and second chance series will help with some of the former characters back story
