The Crown: The Official Companion, Volume 1: Elizabeth II, Winston Churchill, and the Making of a Young Queen (1947-1955) by Robert Lacey

4.0

As companion books to series go, this is on par with what you expect. The chapters dissect the fantasy of the first season of The Crown and bring in the actual history it is based on. Highlighted sections are scattered throughout the book of the "background" players in the story. If you want to delve even more into the world of The Crown, I would recommend it.
