Really, really enjoyed this.
I liked the main character (Bosch).
I connected with most of the others.
There were twists and turns and little mysteries to tease the mind everywhere.
I also liked that it covered most parts of a prosecution process. Besides the detective work, it also included elements of proper procedure and actually building up a case that would stand up in court.
It kept me reading in bed on a Saturday morning long after I should have in order to find out what happens in the end.
The ending wasn't quite as satisfying as I would have liked, but it was enough to keep me happy. And, considering it was a cold case, probably more than what realistically would have happened if this were in any way a true story.
