I was shocked to learn Billy was Ruth’s killer I didn’t see that one coming. I put it together that Ruth was Naomi right before it was stated because the mentioned dates I loved that prior to that I had thought the stories were happening simultaneously but they weren’t. Had I know the years earlier I think I’d guessed sooner but that the excitement of reading a book not knowing where it is going or how it will all play out. I found it interesting
how Ruth prefer for everyone to hurt like her. I thought that was an interesting take being normally people pray nobody has to experience that kind of pain in their life.  I wondered if it bothers Amanda that Billy was Ruth attacker or did she not put it together? Do the police know he was Mr. Blue Eyes?  I think it was a wonderful book.
