"Brave wasn't an identity so much as a choice"
Firstly, I don't have a chronic condition , so I can't speak on how well Hibbert portrayed this and so my review is based on how I feel about the romance and writing.
I liked this book more than The Roommate Risk. There were some cringey parts , like the constant references in the first half because the author REALLY wanted you to know it was the 2st century. The sex scenes were written alot better and even the romance was great too. I usually dont like "third-act break ups" but this one happened for a very valid reason and I think Hibbert wrote the panic & reactions from Chloe and Red well. The Very real feeling of knowing WHY you're spiraling but being unable to stop it. What really stood out to me was how she pointed out that you don't NEED a person , but to want them in your life instead. To keep them not as a lifeline but a crutch.
Graphic: Panic attacks/disorders and Medical content
Moderate: Car accident and Abandonment
Minor: Domestic abuse and Emotional abuse
