I think this overall was a solid read. It was entertaining, had enough lore and world building to keep my fantasy side happy. There wasn’t as much spice as I was expecting, but the amount that was there was quality, so I guess quality over quantity is always a good thing. I loved the banter between Kasia and Brand. Some parts were a little predictable but I didn’t hate it. A fabulous book club pick.
