Just Like Heaven by Julia Quinn

2.0

For 374 pages, almost nothing happens. I don’t mind when a story lacks plot, but it must make up for it in the dialogue and characters.

Unfortunately, the only interesting dialogue was between Marcus and Lady Danbury.

Characters lacked depth and what should have been a slow burn romance was just Marcus doing a 180 at the end of the book.

Lacked both substance and style. 2 stars because I managed to finish it and it did have some promise initially.

Hoping the next book in the series is more substantive.
