This book is the first in a series, which turns into three different series, on the same family. It is Christian fiction and there are definitely parts of it that focus so much on the Christian aspect that the plot line drags a bit, but I found it to be refreshingly un-preachy for the most part. I liked the characters and am anxious to see what happens to them next, so I'll be looking forward to reading the next one!
