Someone Is Always Watching by Kelley Armstrong

medium-paced

3.0

I am a huge Kelley Armstrong fan and I have read a ton of her books, meet her in person and obnoxiously had her sign basically every book she had written at that point. Unfortunately, Someone is Always Watching was not a hit for me. It wasn’t bad, I’ve just read so many mystery thrillers that not much surprises me anymore and this twist was found out relatively soon. So no real big twist for the reader. This was a bit more “sci-fi” than I usually look even though it’s not pitched that way. A I-fi is my least fave genre.
As for characters, personally there were too many for me. I could remember who was who especially when Blythe was also called Bliss, not really close so it was confusing, at least for me. I kind of felt bad for the characters, but they aren’t ones that I cared too much about.
I’d maybe recommend this to true YA readers who are just starting out with mystery thrillers.
