definitely a comfort book for me <3 macy and elliott  story was so heartbreakingly beautiful. loved the dual timelines. being able to see the very beginning of their story and see them develop as close friends was heartwarming. also seeing them in the “future” start to rekindle their friendship and find out as a reader what caused them to stop communication for 11 years really kept me reading. devoured this in 5 hours and was on the verge of tears the whole time. their closeness in their friendship is something i thrive to one day have with someone. they’re perfect <333
