The Girl Who Lived by Christopher Greyson
4.5
This book was action packed with well defined characters. There were twists at every turn that made me not want to put it down. I didn’t know who to trust and I did not figure out the ending, which is rare. There are a couple reasons it lost a half star in the rating though. #1 the fact that Henry was all a figment of her imagination. That could’ve been completely left out. It wasn’t necessary to the plot at all and didn’t fit the story. #2 the fact that mom had so many people on her side- the stepdad, the local cops, and it took all those years for them to figure it out. She was the most unbelievable character in the book. #3 the cops were too quick to jump to the conclusion it was dad. I guess the story fit nicely to make him the killer, but wouldn’t they have checked for gun powder residue on his hands, etc? Overall, this book was pretty amazing.
