The Midnight Library
by Matt Haig
The story was interesting, getting to see all of Nora’s potential lives and how they connect. As a reader in my early 20’s, it gave me a new outlook on the endless possibilities of the future. However, the writing was just okay and lacked sophisticated descriptive language. A lot of the book was just telling us what happened and how Nora felt rather than showing through illuminating details and allowing the reader to fill in the blanks.
