📚My Review
Book two in any trilogy is not as fascinating as the first. However, Golden Son was a stellar continuation of Red Rising.
We continue the drama of Darrow finding his purpose and place as "craved" Gold as he infiltrate their community. This is the books I start to like him. Even though he is still cocky ( I mean he has too) as it appears, this is the Gold way. When I say infiltrate....he goes from zero to 💯
❤️What I loved
Growth of the secondary characters such as Servo & his howlers, Mustang, Victra, Tactus, and even Jackal ( that sneaking bastard). The friendships & trust!
🎬Action scenes
AMAZING! The ass whopping Cassius received sweet! Then they WWE melee fighting between the fighting was wild.
The Iron Rain!
The Death of Big Bully Karnus!
Finally meeting the leader of Sons of Ares!
Roque...the betrayer
💔 RIP
The death of Darrow friends and mentor. That ending - that betrayal was masterful. Mustang ⚠️ him not to trust the Jackal - he is a sociopath
Father Augustus ( damn)👀
Overall this Book 2 took me on a rollercoaster of Fuck me....still processing all that happened🤯
