I wasn’t as engaged with this one as I was the first. Evie was very much channeling Bella Swan in her whiny attitude. So many selfish thoughts and such. And the “heroes” weren’t even in the story all that much. I needed way more Buns & Brownie. Russ is just a love sick puppy dog and I’m not loving her connection with Reed. I’d like to see more growth for Evie in the next one. She needs to mature and grow up some more now.
