This book was slightly better than the previous one. It had crazy story but definitely more character. 
If you are in mood for mafia romance, then it is relatively good and short series. But do not expect a masterpiece. 
(mmc is extremely obsessive, has amputated leg and problems with nerve endings in his left hand)
