I've never read any other books on comics, but I already think this is a must read for anyone interested in the subject. Witty, informative, and with excellent examples, Scott McCloud covers a wide range of comic essentials from the writing side to the visual aspect. He does it all in his own comic style which often made me laugh. With this as a solid introduction, I'm eager to dive into other books on comics.
