The Naming of the Beasts by Mike Carey

5.0

It's been some time since visiting Felix Castor and his world and I don't know what took me so long. It's especially excellent listening to the story. I liked that it takes place in England but the narrator didn't worry too much about accents. It did not diminish the story's draw at all.
It's a busy story, plenty of action and it's exhausting but Felix needs to do what he can to help his friend who has been posssessed by a demon.
It's the kind of story that had me staying -in -the -parking -lot -almost-late-for-work to listen to what was going to happen next.
The devil you know kind of pattern as Felix does what he needs to do. I like Felix. I really like Mike Carey and when he writes under M. R. Carey [The Girl With All the Gifts, perfect zombie book and movie]
I can definitely recommend this book, series and author.
