I put off this book for a long time because I’m not a huge fan of contemporary teen romance, but I am so glad I read this book! Yes, it’s a triangle romance, but the author writes it in a way that it’s not really a love triangle and makes you want to read. More than that, the main character is a POC girl who learns about friendship, what’s really important in relationships, and how to be a strong, independent woman in today’s world. I’m actually thinking of reading a few of this authors other books now. Highly recommend!
