Down Among the Sticks and Bones by Seanan McGuire

4.0

I absolutely loved this book. The beginning got right under my skin and stayed there - Chester and Serena's whole narration just... I can't describe how that hit. Honestly so good, and I love how McGuire read the book; it was an excellent listen.
However, I had no idea this had anything to do with *checks notes* Miss Eleanor?! Who even is that and what does that have to do with anything that happened?? The jacket copy made no sense so I'm glad I only bothered to read it afterwards, because I don't feel like it reflects the book well at all. Not that it would have turned me off, just that it's inaccurate. I only realized this was considered to be in a series by the cover art.
