A beautifully written book. 3 generations that are told seamlessly. Olive, Lucy and Kate all find themselves in the forgotten room within an old mansion (that is also a hospital and a boarding house throughout the book). Lost loves and lost art, the 3 generations of women find themselves navigating societal expectations as well as familial obligations. The stories are woven together masterfully and I was a bit sad when the book ended.
