Turbulence by David Szalay

What a lovely, unique short novel. It follows one person after another as each flies somewhere else in the world. It’s sort of like the film Slacker in that format, which I found enjoyable. The book itself is short and the sections especially so. So what this is is actually just snippets in time in various people, many who are only tenuously connected. Somehow it feels warm and touching and I really, really liked it.
