The Lonely Dead by April Henry
3.0
2.5 this is the type of book I would have loved in middle school. A super, fast, mystery with a little bit of paranormal, and a sad, innocent protagonist. I would have eaten it right up and gushed about it for years, at 13 years old. But there isn't much substance, its very repetitive, and while the characters are supposed to be seniors in high school the sounded more like freshman. I think it was fine, I can see a younger crowd enjoying. Like the age where you start to tip into YA more and more. But other than that I would say skip it.
