There is a bit of fatphobia in the beginning where Ramit compares going into debt to getting fat, and I really don't love that. I understand the point he is making about how this is another area of our wellness (like there's 8 dimensions of wellness: occupational, spiritual, physical, emotional, financial, environmental, mental, social) that we need to practice, just like how we'd go for a run or to the gym. However, I just find it a tiny bit leaning towards fatphobia and ableism sometimes.
Anyway, beyond that, I found this book and Ramit's approach to money to be very accessible, direct, and helpful. I am someone who wants to improve my financial wellness and has struggled with it a lot in the past, so I have started implementing some of the stuff in this book and I would recommend it.
