I will admit, I was dubious about reading this bc I HATE cheating, but it was already established in The Birthday List, so I was prepared but I was too intrigued by Finn x Molly's story.

I was not expecting HALF the plot to this 2nd chance romance, and it's been an interesting and unique take on ex spouses.

Much like The Birthday List, this was packed full with raw emotion...and then some. Perry definitely knows how to leave me in shock and awe.

This is set 5 years after the events of the previous book, so they were divorced and Co parenting for at least 6 years... but they end up having a 1 night stand and things evolve from there.

I love the idea of letter writing...so seeing how they progress, revealing the bad as well as the good was actually a unique was of going into the last without writing in the last tense.

I did love the ending... it was funny and heartwarming as it pays respect to their friend, Jamie (Poppy's husband, who was murdered). I will not spoil for you.
