I really enjoyed this, though it was not what I was expecting. I enjoyed hearing of Mia's escape from her cult and I loved getting to hear the impact that Nathanial had on her and vice versa. I read this in one sitting and have no regrets. If you are looking for something like Practical Magic, this isn't it. But Alice Hoffman is a wizard with words and I don't think you will regret it
