The Stowaway by James S. Murray, Darren Wearmouth

First off, trigger warning for murdered kids. And after reading some reviews, I feel like a terrible person for enjoying this book that has kids as the murder victims... but here we go. I really enjoyed this one! It was a bit slow at first for me but once we got on the cruise ship and things started happening, the pace picked up and I couldn't stop listening. I listened to the whole audiobook while working so it's a very quick read. It does get gory but gore and horror don't bother me (and apparently murdered kids don't either 🤷♀️). I enjoyed the locked room mystery style of the book, using the cruise ship ad the 'locked room' and even though you have your suspicions about who is being the murders, you aren't (or at least I wasn't) quite sure if your correct. The twists and reveals were good and kept me guessing until the end. I can see this being classified as a popcorn thriller read, just with some added gore.
