This beautiful story about a sociopath. Yep. I ended up feeling for her so deeply, empathising with her loneliness and how if one person is feeling something, someone out there is feeling the same thing. I ended up being so proud of the character for searching for her truth and living it. Yes the character is a little self centred, but I’m so glad this book was written, for you should write the books you want to read! She tells the story of her childhood, early signs of her mental disorder, and the misunderstanding of her behaviour. I really liked Patric’s growth throughout the book and loved the quote, “I've come to accept that my version of love is a mosaic: tiny pieces of broken glass held together by fate so the light can shine through in different colours. It is not perfect. Perfect, I'm afraid, is far too tame. The purest love is not born from bliss”. She’s so intelligent.
