The story grabbed my attention from the very first lines, and I couldn't put the book down at all.
There was a stretch of the book in the Sisterhood that felt out of rhythm to me, but not nearly enough to make me think of DNF-ing it, at all.
The self realisations that the two main characters have are very satisfying, and I felt they were natural.
As a plus, this book has sparked a new interest in me about Chinese embroidery and house-life!
