Aristotle and Dante Dive Into the Waters of the World by Benjamin Alire Sáenz

3.0

"It's easy to hate someone when we don't see them as being real people. But ignoring our differences isn't the answer, either"

Aristotle and Dante Dive into the Waters of the World was an amazing dive into growing up in a time where you don't feel safe. The writing of the book showcased what it was like to grow up with the uncertainty of who you could trust. It showcased what it was like to grow up in general and find yourself in a universe that didn't want you in it. I adored the plot of this book, however I found that I had a hard time getting back into the writing style. Something about it just felt different from the last book, though I was not entirely sure what that was. However, I believer that overall this book is absolutely amazing, I just didn't enjoy it as much as the first one. As always, thanks for listening.
