Harry Potter and the Cursed Child: Parts One and Two by John Tiffany

4.0

Edit October 2016: I finally went to see the play before reading the script and I'm glad I did so. That way, I could experience everything for the first time, the way it was intended to be, in a theatre. It also gives me the opportunity of seeing the script from a different point of view. I agree with some reviewers saying that the text is very plain and not descriptive enough, however all of that is solved in the stage version. I think some people forget that this is a play intended to be performed not just read. That aside, there are some plot points that make no sense whatsoever. I'm not gonna spoil anything for those who have not read it yet, but those of you who have probably know what I'm talking about. The plot revolves around a premise that I find quite unbelievable, and the plot-twist...well, I've read fanfiction that made more sense. I'll leave it at that.

In any case, don't be discouraged by the reviews saying that this is not Harry Potter and that this is shit. I would recommend you read it for yourself and form your own opinions. If anything, do it for Draco and Scorpius Malfoy; they're probably the best thing in this script.

WHAT THE HECK DO I DO NOW? I HAVE TICKETS FOR THE PLAY IN OCTOBER! DO I READ THE SCRIPT FIRST? DO I WAIT AND WATCH THE PLAY? WHAT? WHAT DO I DO!!!! THIS WOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED IF I HAD GOTTEN TICKETS FOR THE PREVIEWS, LIKE I WANTED.
