JAGGED EDGE is a dark, erotic, enemies to lovers, bad boy, M/M romance by Jo Raven. It is a standalone although many characters from across several series make an appearance. But, having read only the first three or four books from the Inked Brotherhood series (I can't believe I haven't kept up with this series, am I CRAZY?!?!) I had no problem working out who was who. I've got to say, I was first drawn to the freaking HOT cover, WOW! The scorching chemistry between Jason and Raine absolutely lived up to the promise of it. Then the blurb grabbed my attention and it turned out, I just LOVED this book. It's filled with all kinds of raw angst and gritty drama, a darkness with the proverbial light at the end of the tunnel. Neither Jason or Raine have had it easy and while Raine is pulling himself out of the dregs of his past, Jason is still in a heartbreaking situation. His circumstance isn't pretty and flower filled but when his walls come down and Jason allows Raine's love in, things change. SIGH! Talk about swoon worthy, I mean in reality, Jason and Raine would probably NEVER get the HEA but that's why I read books like this, to feel like ANYONE can overcome bad odds! This book made me want to go back and read the WHOLE series! Told from dual POVs with a fairytale ending (and let's face it, this kind of end is the best!) I received, read and voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
