A Seditious Affair
by KJ Charles
There is something sad about finishing a book you love but there is no way I could handle reading this one slowly. The stakes are high with sedition, high treason, love, and friendship all tangled together. This was "I-know-I-have-to-get-up-in-a-few-hours-but-I-don't-care" kind of read. I love the overlay between this one and "A Fashionable Indulgence" as well. It was great fun to see Harry through the eyes of Silas.
I also love the way she weaves historical events into her story. I feel like I learn something when I'm reading these which is just a cherry on top of an otherwise delicious hot fudge sundae of a book.
"A Gentleman's Position" cannot get here fast enough for me.
