I thought the book was a bit too long, the plot feels very slow and a good chunk of the book felt a bit unnecessary to me. However, I really liked the way the characters were written that added a bit a depth to their actions and feelings, and I really enjoyed the end, it felt like a good conclusion to the book in a very heartwarming way.
