Yet another example for myself that I should not put off reading books I’m going to enjoy!!! This was so fun!!
After getting drunk at a festival Cinnamon has a run in with a demon, saving him and then having him threaten to kill her (no good deed goes unpunished I guess). After a restless nights sleep Cinnamon is accosted by the demon over breakfast where he asks her to help him destroy a goddess because she’s actually a dead witch trapping all demons under her magic. And thus begins Cinnamons and Fallon’s quest!
I had so much fun reading this. It was witty, sexy, had a few heartfelt moments, and wasn’t afraid to have the demon (Fallon) be both villainous and sweet and charming.
It was such an enjoyable read and I’m really looking forward to reading the rest of the series!
